Kiran Kumar denies rumours
Chikkanayakanahalli, DHNS:

Denying rumours of contesting from Gubbi assembly constituency or Tumkur Lok Sabha , Former MLA and BJP district President K S Kiran Kumar clarified that he would contest from Chikkanayakanahalli in the forthcoming elections.

Mr Kiran Kumar was addressing the workers at the party office. “As Kallambella constituency has been cancelled and 40 per cent of Chikkanayakanahalli constituency comprises of Kallambella, I will be contesting from this constituency itself”, he clarified. Having worked as an advocate for several years in Chikkanayakanahalli, he said that he is sure of winning the election as he is well connected in the taluk. He also recalled his efforts to bring the irrigation scheme of Shettigere hobli during his tenure as MLA several years ago.

The people of Chikkanayakanahalli would welcome a change and would definitely elect BJP, he stated. The BJP will not merge with JD (U) unlike in the last election as the workers are opposed to it and it will also mar the growth of the party, he said.

Wide campaign will be held from next week, while adding that a hobli level workers’ convention will be held.
Taluk BJP Secretary Anekatte Siddaramaiah, taluk Yuva Morcha Secretary Gopalanahalli Siddaramaiah, district Raita Morcha President Sagaranahalli Vijay Kumar, taluk Morcha Morcha Secretary Shubha Basavaraju and other workers were also present at the meet.
