Passengers, now, can reserve a maximum of 6 seats at a time though this kiosk by using their ATM-cum-debit card. Besides, an individual can purchase 10 tickets in a month with this facility.
The new facility has been possible following an agreement between the bank and the Indian Railways to start such kiosks in a total of 225 railway stations across the country.
Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation has been providing e-tickets through internet, and CanBank has made use of this opportunity.
Balmatta ATM
HPCL Senior Regional Manager R Srinivasan inaugurated the bank’s another ATM located at the HPCL petrol bunk premises at Balmatta. Canara Bank Mangalore Circle Deputy General Manager M M Kudva said the present one was the 42nd ATM under Mangalore Circle and the 1,918th of the bank as a whole.
Collector’s Gate Branch Senior Manager K R Yadapadithaya, Divisional Manager K S Nayak, Chief Manager S G Desai, B M Nayak, B V Pai, K V C Shenoy and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
