Miscreants threatened a maxi cab driver and made away with the vehicle during the wee hours of Thursday from Katariguppe arch in Channammakere Achukatu police station limits. However, Keshava Murthy is not able to give a convincing reply on whey he was sleeping inside the car.

Bus runs over
A pedestrian was run over by a private transport bus near Ebalur junction in Audugodi traffic police station limits on Thursday.

The deceased Subalu (42), a native of Guntur died on the spot.

Woman ends life
