Friday evening proved to be a nightmare for motorists,  in and around Shivajinagar, Halasurugate Police station, K R Market and Chamarajpet. Traffic diversion made by traffic police to facilitate Eid procession, led to the traffic jam.  Passengers had great difficulty in reaching their destinations. 

     The police had banned movement of vehicles on Nrupatunga Road. Normalcy was restored around 10 pm.
