 Office-bearers
The following have been elected as the office-bearers of the SC/ST Employees Welfare Federation (SEWAFED) at a meeting held in Kolar.

District President-Bangavadi Narayanappa, Secretary-Krishnaiah, General Secretary-V Sriramaiah, Finance Secretary- K T Suresh Babu, 35 Vice-Presidents representing 35 departments have also been appointed at the meeting.SEWAFED Central President M Venkateshswamy has said that SEWAFED as identified reservation, quota, caste certificate scam and backlog vacancy recruitment as the issue to be taken up the Federation.

‘Follow traffic rules’
Mulbagal, dhns: Today’s youths do not follow traffic rules and regulations properly, while most of the vehicles are not registered, expressed Mulbagil DySP Bharanendraiah.

He was speaking at a road safety programme organised in Devarayasamudram village of Mulbagal taluk on Thursday.
