Says Daisy Chacha of Christine Valmy International School of Esthetics, "Rather modish at the moment are long fringes, textured bangs and even side bangs clubbed with face frames, depending upon your facial bone structure. The inclusion of razored, feathered tresses creates movement and  adds texture to medium length manes. The hottest hairstyle on the circuit though is the sleek, rounded bob cut, but before you leap in for the kill, discuss the look with your hairstylist."

Disobedient hair owners of the world rejoice. Soft, blowsy curls elbow out the poker straight, minimal look this season. International hair stylist Christiaan Georgio emphasises  a 'free tress' look. "Much like an out-of-bed look yet elegantly put together," he says. Bright red highlights that ruled yesteryear seasons bow out and in float caramelised browns, warm mochas and startling auburns, depending upon your complexion. Alternatively, you can choose to marinate your locks in a trendy maroon palette, hot off the international ramp, or even in deep burgundies for a sleek appeal.

The trick lies in ushering in clever tonal gradations into your tresses. "Bring in several shades of a single colour to create a multifaceted, luxe look that moves with your gorgeous strands," says Chacha.
