Railway Infrastructure is very bad in Karnataka when compared to others states like Kerala, TN, AP, where even the remote places have double track with electrification. Though there were many Railway Ministers from Karnataka major cities like Bangalore don't have such facilities.
Why can't Deccan Herald as an organisation ask all the past railway ministers what was their contribution to the state which they represented.
Since the Railway commute is less the other means of transport has increased & hence other problems..
A small state like Kerala has got a good Railway infrastructure. The Bangalore-Mangalore trains are running for namesake.
It is a very sad thing that a city which boasts to be the IT capital does not have good co-ordination with the Centre on this.
