Popularly called as Tathaiaha festival amongst the local people, the celebrations will begin from Monday night and go through the main streets of the town completely lit with lights and decorated with flowers. It will be followed by ‘Pathahakhani’.
On Tuesday there will be a qawwali night by the artistes from Rajasthan Doordarshan.
Former president of Town Municipal Council C Basavraj will also be present.
On Wednesday the will be music night . Khalid Ahmed Khan of WAKF and Haj Committee, Zulfikar Tippu, Zilla Haj Committee memmber Munnar Ahmed Khan and other digintaries are expected to be part of the programme.
A meet which was presided over by the former legislator C B Suresh Babu decided that Tathaiaha festival that has been celebrated peacefully every year by both hindus and the muslims will be held in similar fashion this year too.
