Heavy rain splashes district
DH News Service, Tumkur:

As many as seven houses were damaged and crops were destroyed due to the heavy rains which splashed the district three days ago.

Even on Saturday, there were drizzles of rain, which made water flow into houses in several low lying areas including SIT extension, Nazarabad extension, Hegde Colony, Gokula extension and others. It was a common sight to see the people struggling to remove rain water out of their houses.
