Cine director and writer Baragur Ramachandrappa’s book - ‘Cinema Ondu Janapada Kale’ (Cinema A Folk Art) was released in Bangalore on Saturday.
The book was released in a get-together organised by Ramachandrappa’s family on the occasion of he being honoured with honorary doctorate by Kuvempu University. Ramachandrappa said cinema is a folk art. “Folklore will continue to exist as long as humanity continues to exist on earth”, he said.
