Four north Indians were allegedly assaulted by a group of people after Holi celebrations at Santacruz in the western suburb of the metropolis.
The incident occurred at Juhu Koliwada late Saturday night. However, it is not known whether the group belonged to any political outfit, police said on Sunday.
According to the complaint, a group of around 8 to 10 people asked the victims where they hailed from. When they replied they were from Bihar, the group hit them with bamboo sticks. The police has registered a case of rioting. No arrests have been made so far.
