6 new products from KMF
The Karnataka Milk Federation on Monday launched six new Nandini products, including premium curds and a fat- and cholestrol-free milk Nandini Lite. At a function held at KMF’s Mother Dairy premises, KMF chairperson H D Revanna launched the products.
Nandini Dairy Whitener- a fat-free milk powder, Nandini Ghee made up of cow milk, Nandini Choco Milk and Milkafe, which is chocolate and coffee-flavoured milk, were also launched.
The KMF introduced nine new colourful packs of its existing brands. The new flavoured milk pack is available in 200 ML tetrapack and has a six-month shelf life.
No power supply
Vinayakanagar, Srinivasanagar main road, Gerahally and part of Bank Colony areas will not have power supply from 10 am to 6 pm on Tuesday. This is due to the rearranging of a 11 KV and secondary line at Srinivasa nagar main road. Call 12660.
Gender-friendly schooling
Institute for Social and Economic Change is hosting a round table on Indicators of ‘School quality: Towards Gender-friendly Schooling Environment’ for four days from March 26. The Commonwealth Foundation report on ‘Girls’ Education: A foundation for Development’ will be released by writer Dr U R Ananthamurty on March 28. The report has been prepared based on researches on promoting gender equality in education in India, Pakisthan, Cameroon and Papua New Guinea. Call: 23215468
Asphaltation works begin
BBMP has taken up asphaltation of following roads in the City:
East zone: Roads in Adugodi, Koramangala village, Defence colony; South zone: St John’s Road, Jayanagar 36th cross; Byatarayanapura zone: Road connecting NH 7 and Kempapura, Balaji layout, Lakshmamma ophan home Road, HMT layout road, Tumkur Road and Tannery Road.
