JD(S) leader from Peresandra Dr Sudhakar said that people are now taking solace in temple and religious rituals as way of beating their mental stress due to the hectic daily life activity.
Speaking after donating Rs 2 lakh to the Chennakeshava temple in Chikkapilagurki village of the taluk. He said people’s disorientation towards god, divine forces, inclination towards sinful activities is the main reason for the social anarchy.
Earlier people in rural areas where god fearing and use to lead a peaceful life but today due to the influence of industrialisation, globalisation and real estate they have become restless and have lost the peace in their life, said another JD(S) leader P N Keshava Reddy.CMC member Gajendra, leader Alasuru Manjunath and others were present on the occasion.
