The High Court on Monday sentenced a woman to life imprisonment, for murdering a five-and-a-half year-old boy, over an alleged grudge against his mother. Division Bench comprising Justice V G Sabhahit and Justice B V Nagarathna allowed an appeal by T Narasipura police and convicted Mangalamma alias Lakshmidevi of Kyathmaranahalli, Mysore under the charges of kidnap and murder.
