Justice Ashok B Hinchigeri passed an interim order to this effect for a period of two weeks, following a petition by P D Medappa and another resident of Craig Park Layout, owning property no 21 on MG Road.

The KIADB had issued a preliminary notification for acquiring land measuring 909 sq mts in favour of BMRC on January 23, 2006.

The final acquisition notification was issued on October 24, 2007, and a notice seeking transfer of possession issued on December 29, 2007.
