LG Electronics India Private Ltd announced launch of new range of widescreen entertainment notebooks, E200 and E300. These notebooks is powered by Intel core 2 Dou processor, with extended battery life, widescreen display, 1.3 megapixel webcam and power saving mode. It is also featured with high definition multimedia interface (HDMI) technology that provides uncompressed crystal-clear digital video/audio. The end user requires to simply connect the HDMI cable to a digital TV or LCD monitor, and can experience digital entertainment
The E200 & E300 is priced at an MRP of Rs. 51,500 and Rs. 57,000 respectively.
Corel’s 9 Plus Blu-ray DVD
Corel Corporation launched Corel WinDVD, the world’s number one DVD and video playback software on PCs. Corel WinDVD 9 Plus Blu-ray features an intuitive user interface, new video technologies including advanced upscaling that enables users to create near-high-definition viewing with standard-definition DVDs, enhanced Blu-ray Disc playback, as well as high-definition surround sound.

Hitachi Data Discovery Suite
Hitachi Data Systems introduced file and content services that simplify data management. The announcements include the Hitachi Data Discovery Suite, a new line-up of advanced network attached storage (NAS) services with the introduction of the Hitachi Essential NAS Platform and Hitachi High-performance NAS Platform 3000 Series and a new version of the Hitachi Content Archive Platform. Managing cost with one consolidated platform is the primary business benefit of the new services. With the introduction of these services, Hitachi delivers common search, retention, movement and protection of data to file services within an integrated services oriented platform.
