The inauguration of the proposed Indo-Bangla passenger train -Moitrayee Express - slated for April 14 next is likely to be deferred after the West Bengal government felt that the launching of the train service between April 7 and May 21 may amount to violation of election code of conduct. The three-tier Panchayat elections have been scheduled in May next.
