Techie hounds former girlfriend
By Bala Chauhan, DH News Service, Bangalore:
A couple has lodged a complaint with the Karnataka State Legal Services Authority (KSLSA) three months ago, that the wife's ex-boyfriend has been stalking her and making her life miserable...

The couple is based in Bangalore and the “accused”, a former software engineer in a multinational firm, is from a suburban area.

According to Nisha (name changed), she met her ex-beau, Ajay (name changed), three years ago on the Net. They reportedly exchanged mails and started dating each other.

“In their mails they expressed their feelings for each other. Ajay, meanwhile, went to the US on an official tour but they kept in touch. When he returned to Bangalore, much to her shock, he told her and his family that he wanted to renounce the world, become a monk and join an ashram,” KSLSA sources said.

Nisha reportedly tried to reason with him but he had made up his mind. A heartbroken Nisha decided to get married to Nitin (name changed).

Ajay went to an ashram, met the swamiji and told him about his intention to become a monk. The spiritual leader, on hearing about his previous love affair, allegedly refused him admission. What is interesting is that Nitin, who knew about his wife’s love affair, reportedly sent Ajay an e-mail stating that his wife had not got over her ex-beau.

A dejected Ajay reportedly left his job and started stalking Nisha, her family and her husband.

Nitin and Nisha approached the KSLSA seeking counselling. “We called Ajay and he told us that she had cheated and harassed him. We even arranged joint meetings with a psychiatrist from a government hospital, who found Ajay’s behaviour abnormal. According to the psychiatrist, he could be suffering from a severe personality disorder and needs immediate psychiatric help,” added the source.

Ajay in the last few days has not called Nisha. “In case he does, we have advised her to file a complaint before the magistrate under the Mental Health Act. Ajay comes from a traditional family and does not have any addiction,” he said.

I would like to say, why the Title starting with "Techie" word. It really gives the impression that this thing is orginated by a techie, where as I can see this guy renounced every thing and had some mental problem which has nothing to do with him being techie. What my concern is that Mentioning Techie in special gives impression to people that they can expect this kind of thing from Techie ppl which is Wrong. Your COmments are welcomed.
