Expressing anger over the efforts to implement the new CVS system, Ramamurthy nagar Welfare Association president A V Shama Rao, said, “Principal Secretary Jothiramalingam is taking great pains to implement CVS but he is not concerned about providing drinking water to our area despite pleading for it through various officials, he charged. “We are facing water problem for over two decades,” he added.
The association has also called for waiver of the penalty amount to be submitted by those who have not paid the beneficiary capital contributions before the specified deadline and provide water to those who have already paid the contributory amount. “The date of bundh will be decided after discussing with many other organisations in R M nagar areas,” he added.
