SA turn on the heat  
Under an unforgiving sun, South Africa made hay before an extraordinary decision by Jacques Kallis to 'walk' and a brilliant return catch by an unrelenting Anil Kumble towards close pegged the visitors back slightly on the opening day of the first Test against India at the MA Chidambaram stadium on Wednesday.
McKenzie not too greedy!  
Neil McKenzie is relishing the opportunity of opening the innings for South Africa. The right-hander followed up his Test highest score of 226 against Bangladesh with a polished 94 on the opening day of the first Test against India here on Wednesday.
Bhajji looks for early wickets  
Harbhajan Singh, under pressure to deliver goods in Test cricket, didn't quite set the Chidambaram stadium on fire, but dealt two crucial blows to South Africa that helped keep India in the first Test here on Wednesday.
West tame listless South to emerge runners-up

    Election Commission has been very strong and stubborn this time. It has dealt politicians with the severest norms...the staff with iron hand and suspended/dismissed employers at will. But what about those people who could not vote as their names were not in the voters list, due to someone's negligence? I am one among them and  for the first time, I could not vote.
