Feeling the pulse
From Anand V Yamnur,DH News Service,Hubli:
MP and AICC General Secretary Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday said that he was not here for election campaigning, but to feel the pulse of the people.

Speaking to reporters Rahul said that it was a big experience for him in meeting the people of the State.
"I am enjoying myself a lot here. I have come to gain knowledge, as knowledge and understanding is necessary”, he said.
Rahul refused to comment on his criticism by political parties and refused to take any political questions. Rahul interacted with four groups - a group of MBA and engineering students, and NSUI units from Hubli-Dharwad, Haveri, and Gadag. Regarding the Naxalite menace in the country, he said, when he had visited Orissa, he had seen that the Naxal problem had come to the fore due to lack of facilities, he added.
Media barred
The media was barred from covering his interaction with different groups, which was arranged at the ‘E-Lite’ building of the B V Bhoomaraddy College of Engineering and Technology.
