Actor and former minister Anant Nag has made it clear he will not contest elections this time and will not be involved in any political activity. However, he declared a soft corner for BJP.
“I have been observing the political happenings and have come to the conclusion the BJP has to be given a chance,” he said after inaugurating a studio here.
“These days, it is wrong to proclaim one a Hindu. Hindus have nowhere to go except this country, while people of other communities are present in many countries across the world. The Sachar Committee Report found the Muslims were backward. But this country has mostly been ruled by the Congress since gaining Independence. Now, who is responsible for this state of affairs,” he asked.
