Regularise services’
Bangalore, dhns: The Karnataka State Human Rights Commission has recommended to the State government and the management of KPTCL to favourably consider regularisation of services of drivers on contract.  This follows a petition filed by one of the drivers seeking regularisation of the services of drivers appointed on a contract basis by the corporation during 2000-2001.
PU debarred
Bangalore, dhns: The PU Board debarred ten students for malpractices during the II PU Hindi examination on Wednesday. Among the ten, three are from Bijapur, 2 each from Belgaum and Gulbarga and one each in Bagalkot, Bidar and Mysore.
