For those who  hung around the practice courts of the  Karnataka State Lawn Tennis Association (KSLTA), it was fun to watch the big names in women’s tennis paired up with businessmen from Bangalore for the mixed doubles.
Patty Schynder (Switzerland) Vedy Aurelie (France) and Mathilde Johansson (France) paired up with leading businessmen including Rajesh Metha from Rajesh Exports, Mr. Rohit Hegde from Cape India, T.K. Kodhanda Ram, a KSLTA member as well as a top official, Amar Kumar Pande, Director General, Sports Authority of Karnataka.

The businessmen billed the game as `WTA challengers versus Bangalore challengers’. No scores were maintained but the businessmen  definitely went home a little wiser about the game of tennis.
