On the occasion of golden jubilee celebration of the Renaissance Artists and Writers Association (RAWA), a cultural evening will be brought to you based on ‘Prabhat Samgiita’, composed and set to tunes by  P R Sarkar at Town Hall on March 8 at 6 pm.

Carnatic vocalist R K Srikantan will be felicitated on the occasion. Historian Dr Suryanath Kamath  will be the chief guest and Kannada writer Dr Chidananda Murthy will preside over the function.

Classical singer Parmeshwar Hegde, light music singer Archana Udupa and RAWA singer Acharya Tattvedananda Avadutha will render devotional songs.The programme will start with Keerthana Ravi’s Bharathanatyam. A dance drama will be performed by Nupura, school of Bharathanatyam. RAWA is a the cultural wing of Anand Marga founded by P R Sarkar to promote art, music and service.
