The uncastled King is at most times a source of worry in a game of chess as the opponent finds an easy target in him in such cases. The King, many a times can find himself a safe square even if he has not castled but the sight of the monarch stranded on the original square with the opponent attacking all around always presents a sorry picture.

The game which follows has Black King staying on the original square for a long time and after that it is a sad sight to see the King trying to get away in search of a safe square on the queen side. White relentlessly pursues the King to clinch the game in his favour.
