Rainfall occurred at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka. Dry weather prevailed pver North Interior Karnataka. Chief amounts of rainfall (cm): Holenarsipura (Hassan dt), T.Narsipura (Mysore dt), Hassan, Bangalore Airport 3 each; Yelandur, M.M.Hills (both Chamarajnagara dt), Srirangapatna (Mandya dt), Kunigal (Tumkur dt), Mysore 2 each; Madapura (Kodagu dt), Arkalgud, Arsikere, C.R.Patna (all Hassan dt), Bandipura (Chamarajnagara dt), Channapatna (Bangalore Rural dt), Chamarajnagara 1 each. Maximum Temperatures changed little over the State. They were appreciably above normal at a few places over Coastal Karnataka; however below normal at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and were normal over North Interior Karnataka. Gulbarga recorded the highest maximum temperature of 42.7 Celsius over the State.

Forecast: Forecast valid until the morning of Thursday: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at a few places over all districts of South Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over all the districts of Coastal Karnataka. Mainly dry weather will prevail over all districts of North Interior Karnataka.

Outlook for subsequent two days: No significant change is expected over the State.
