Antaranga, the amateur theatre group, is performing two plays on May 13 and 14 at Ranga Shankara, JP Nagar at 7.30 pm. On May 13, the troupe will stage Saddu Vicharane Nadeethide (Silence, Court is in Session) based on Vijay Tendulkar’s famous Marathi play Shantata, Court Chalu Aahe, which is considered to be one of his best plays written by him. The play has been translated into North Karnataka dialect by Chandrakanth Kusanur. It has all the ingredients of humour, sarcasm and ends on a serious note. The drama is created by the creative young director Ritvik Simha. On May 14, the troupe will stage the 28th show of T P Kailasam’s play Huttadalli Hutta, which has received much acclaim.
