JD(S) protest

However the JD(S) party workers camped outside the police station alleging that the cops had sided with the Congress party workers. Among those who  were part of the protest included the JD(S) party candidate M Rajanna and Panchakshara Reddy.

It was only after the police assured that their compliant would be filed and investigations would be conducted in a free and fair manner did the protesters withdraw from the premises.

However the Congress party workers camped outside the Circle Inspector’s office in the morning protesting that the cops had failed to provide security for its workers.

They submitted a letter to the officials asking for adequate protection during the polling and then withdrew the protest.
