Fake cases against Amitabh Bachchan, Amar
DH News Service ,Lucknow:

Samajwadi Party president Mulayam Singh Yadav  on Tuesday accused UP Chief Minister Mayawati of “hounding” the party general secretary Amar Singh and Amitabh Bachchan.
“Mayawati is conspiring to implicate Amar Singh and Amitabh Bachchan in fake cases with the aim of seeking political revenge,” Yadav said. Alleging that a UP police team had raided Amar Singh’s residence in Kolkata on Monday night, the SP chief  claimed that the raid was carried out on the instruction of Mayawati.
Yadav also released a video CD, purportedly showing the raid and claimed that the police officer who led the team had admitted on camera that they had gone to Kolkata at the Chief Minister’s behest.
The case against Singh and Bachchan pertained to hiring of a luxury bus which carried the Bachchans from Lucknow airport to Singh’s residence on the latter’s birthday. Singh is said to have evaded tax payment for converting the bus into a luxury one. The bus later took the two families to Daulatpur village in the neighbouring Barabanki village where they laid the foundation stone for a girls’ college named after Aishwarya Rai.
