Vishwa Chetana Vidyaniketana Residential School is situated on the outskirts of Davangere, Karnataka.
Vijayalakshmi Veeramachaneni is the founder-chairperson of Vishwa Chetana Vidyaniketana Trust. The objective of the trust is to provide quality education to the rural students. Over 2,000 students from LKG to second PU are studying in the school.
The aim of opening the school is that no rural student should be deprived of quality education. Vishwa Chetana Vidyaniketana residential school was opened in 1988-89 in Davangere. Later, Chetana Institute of Management Studies, Hi-tech School for Management and Sri Vyshnavi Chetana Science College were opened. Vyshnavi Chetana Science Colleges have been opened this year at Tumkur, Hubli, Dharwad and Mangalore. These colleges provide five-in-one programme, which includes PUC, CET, AIEEE, IIT and AIMS.
The trust has also opened Olympiyard School, which imparts State, CBSE, ICSE and combined syllabus to prepare students for IIT examinations. The residential school has been securing 100 per cent results in SSLC examination for the last nine years. PU College has also obtained 93.33 per cent result this year.
