Sir,
Now it has become common for the government to announce decisions hastily without taking concerned into confidence. It announced for supply of eggs in the mid day meal scheme and retracted. A fine was imposed on 2000 schools for violating medium of instruction which has been now stayed by the court. Earlier it was decided even to close down these schools. A ban was announced on night shift working of women and within couple of days the decision was to be reversed. Auctioning of reclaimed encroached land invited wide criticism and re-auctioning being ordered. The criticism has come from the very person who investigated the encroachments and submitted the report. We have to now see what will be the decision on those temporary employees of the University who were ordered to occupy the office by none other than the Chief Minister himself by humiliating the vice chancellor. The matter has gone to the Governor who is the chancellor. These are only samples of how the Government is taking decisions on public matters.
