Elephant attacks man
Kushalnagar, DHNS:

A man suffered serious injuries after an elephant attacked him at Metnahalla in Anekadu reserve forest near Kushalnagar on Wednesday. The injured has been identified as Raju, a resident of Metnahalla.
Police said Raju suffered injuries at his chest, hand and leg and was initially admitted at the Government Hospital in Madikeri. He was later shifted to Mangalore for further treatment.
Forest officials visited the spot.
