The Bangalore HIV-AIDS Forum has appealed to the  State government to provide financial aid to the people tested HIV postive.
 Speaking to reporters, Forum’s members, mainly the victims said that they have been alienated from the society and find it difficult to gather money for tests and make a living. “We earn very little and these tests have been out of our reach as we need to spend at least two to three thousand rupees for them,” said Renuka.

 A candle light memorial day will be observed on May 18 to educate people about AIDS.
