Come June 2, hysteria will grip Bangalore as music lovers congregate at the Palace Grounds to rock to the sound of Aerosmith. Brought to the city by Royal Challenge in partnership with DNA Networks, the ‘bad boys from Boston’ will be in Bangalore as part of their ‘Greatest Hits 2007 World Tour’.
During the 2 hour long concert, the legendary Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Brad Whitford, Tom Hamilton and Joey Kramer will perform some of the best compositions from the band’s 33 year history including Looks Like a Lady, Livin’ on the edge, Walk this Way, Sweet Emotion, Falling in Love, I Don’t want to miss a thing, Crazy, Angel, Dream On and Janies got a gun.
Founded in 1973, Aerosmith have been performing as the original line up for the past 34 years; the band has more than 25 bill board top 40s to its credit. The band’s I Don’t want to miss a thing from Armageddon staring Tyler’s daughter Liv, reached the #1 slot of Billboard Hot 100 and was nominated for an Academy award.
Aerosmith’s musical evolution over the years has made them major innovators in American hard rock, pop, blues and rap. They have inspired rock legends like Gun’s n Roses, Bon Jovi, Nirvana and many more.
