The BDA on Saturday recovered its encroached properties worth Rs 75 lakh in HBR Layout. The authority acquired the property by demolishing unauthorised structures that had come up in an area of 3,600 sqft in Kacharakahanalli. The demolition operation was carried out by BDA task force.
The authority will hold grievances redressal meetings regularly to address people’s problems, BDA Chairman B Siddaiah said. Speaking to presspersons after holding a public grievances redressal meeting at BDA complex in Koramangala, Siddaiah said meetings will be held at different places to avoid people visit the head office many times.
Acting on a complaint received in the meeting, Siddaiah ordered his staff to take action against a person who was running a homeopathic clinic in a shop in the complex allotted for someone else.
