The Rajasthan police arrested a Madarasa teacher from a village in Sawai Madhopur district on Saturday in relation with the serial bomb blasts at the state capital on Tuesday. He is suspected to have links with the outlawed militant outfit Students Islamic Movements of India (SIMI).
The Special Investigation Team (SIT) investigating the bomb blasts that rocked the city leaving scores of innocent people dead and injured, arrested the Sajid (30) from Bagi Udayi village in the wee hours of Saturday where he teaches in a Madarasa.
The investigating team has brought him to Jaipur for further interrogation. Meanwhile, Rajasthan police released three more sketches of suspect bombers on Friday night on the basis of eye-witnesses’
With the latest release, the number of sketches of suspects has gone up to seven. They are all said to be young boys between the age group of 22 and 25 years.

The IPL match with Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers started on Saturday amidst tight security.
With enhanced security and the post-blast situation in the city, the SMS stadium witnessed a low turn up of cricket fans.
There were no cheer leaders this time or arrangements of any other type of entertainment following the tragedy that hit the Pink City.
The match started by observing one minute silence to mourn the death of bomb blasts victims. The president of Rajasthan Cricket Academy Lalit Modi also presented a cheque of Rs 6 crore to Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje for the help of blasts victims.
Bounce to normalcy
The city has now bounced back to normalcy with the usual hustle and bustle returning to the markets in the walled city. After initial cancellations at city hotels, tourists are also seen at the famous monuments unfazed by the recent terror strikes.
All the tourist places are open to the public and tourists. The Tourism Minister Usha Punia has asked the tourists to contact the Tourism Assistance Force (TAF) or the tourist reception centre in the city if they encounter any problem.
