Rainfall occurred at isolated places over the State. Chief amounts of rainfall (cm): Sompura, K R Pet, Sakleshpura 2 each; Sargur 1. Maximum temperatures changed little over the State. They were above normal at many places being appreciably so at a few places over coastal; above normal at a few places over south interior and remained normal over north interior. Gulbarga recorded the highest maximum temperature of 40.8 deg Celsius
