The Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) on Saturday recovered encroached property worth Rs 4.68 crore in HBR Layout. An under-construction two-floor building, five AC sheet sheds and three compound walls that had unauthorisedly come up on 13 sites of 30x40 dimension in HBR Layout 1st Stage, 3rd Block, Sy Nos 191, 194 and 197 of Kacharakanahally have been demolished. The recovered property has also been fenced by the BDA Task Force officials.
The demolition follows BDA’s demolition drive on Friday, wherein it recovered four acres and 29 guntas of property worth Rs 50 crore near the West of Chord Road.
