A rare Persian black cat hit the headlines after it landed back in its owner's lap on Sunday. A few days back, some street urchins snatched the pet from a child who was playing in front of his residence in 4th 'T' Block, Jayanagar.
A complaint was also lodged at Tilak Nagar police. With out knowing the value, the street urchin sold the pet for Rs 1,000 to a family.  After dilly dallying for few hours, the family realised that the boys might have stolen the pet and decided to return it. They landed at the Kalasipalyam police station and requested the police inspector to find its owner.
