The counselling for in-service candidates and second round and de-categorised rounds of counselling for entrance quota candidates for admissions to post-graduate medical and dental courses for the academic year 2007-08 is scheduled to be held at Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in Bangalore from Monday.
The counselling for in-service candidates and second round of counselling for entrance-quota candidates in dental faculty will take place on May 21, second round for entrance-quota candidates in medical faculty will be held on May 22 and 23. De-categorised round for entrance-quota candidates in dental and medical faculty will be held on May 25.
For in-service candidates, the counselling will be conducted as per the merit list prepared by the departments concerned after adding weightage, if applicable, to the marks secured in the PG entrance test.
Merit list of in-service candidates has been published on the RGUHS website and candidates can file objections, if any, to the departments concerned.
Candidates can participate in both the second round and de-categorised round of counselling and get admitted to the allotted college after the completion of de-categorised round of counseling. The candidates should select only one seat either at counselling conducted by RGUHS or Comed-K. The RGUHS has warned of stringent action against the candidates, who violate the norms.
