ST tag for Kabbaligas
Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy on Sunday said the government will send a proposal to the Centre seeking scheduled tribe tag for Kabbaliga community, which has been lagging behind on social and economic fronts. Speaking at the Jayanthyotsava of Ambigara Chowdaiah here, he said Kabbaliga community deserves ST tag as people of the community have been reeling under abject poverty.
Interviews for lecturers posts
Karnataka Public Service Commission has scheduled the interviews for recruitment to the posts of lecturers for Government PU Colleges in the discipline of History (73 posts) from May 21 to May 25 and in the discipline of Geography (14 posts) on May 29, 2007. Applications invited
Bangalore Rural district Horticulture department has invited applications for filling up various posts on contract basis or permanent basis. Thirty -eight posts of Assistant Horticulture Officers, 6 Horticulture Assistants posts, 24 horticulturists posts are sought to be filled along with 25 posts on the basis of stipendiary for candidates trained in horticulture. Admissions open for film Course
Government Film and Television Institute is issuing applications for admissions to Diploma in Cinematography & Sound Recording, and Engineering Courses for the year 2007-08.
Those who have passed second PUC Science (PCM) or equivalent course are eligible to apply.
