Girls body found in garbage bin
DH news service, Bangalore:

The body of a 13-year-old girl was found dumped in a garbage bin at Kadalurpalya in Doddabelvangala police station limits. The body of Anita, a seventh standard student, was found in the bin which was 100 metres from her house. She had been missing since May 19. The body more multiple stab injuries. Police suspect a rape attempt. Anitha was staying with her grandmother Gangamma.

Ends life

A  KSRP head constable's son committed suicide by hanging at his Madiwala quarters on Tuesday.
Harish (22), an autorickshaw driver, was upset over financial deals, the police said.

Tension at hospital
Tension prevailed at a nursing home in Kamakshipalya on Tuesday following a strike by hundreds of people.  They were staging a protest against the doctors’ reportedly refusal to admit a girl suffering from appendicitis. Parents of Soumya (16) alleged the doctors did not admit her for treatment as they first took her to another hospital. However, police intervened and pacified the protesters.

Bomb hoax

A ‘bomb threat’ sparked panic at an IT firm in Electronic City on Tuesday.  The HP Global Centre administrative head received a call at 10.15 am saying a bomb had been planted inside the company premises.

One killed

One person was killed and many injured when two maxi cabs belonging to BPO companies collided near Ashirwadam Circle-Residency Road-Museum Road junction in the early hours of Tuesday.  Kumar (25), cab driver attached to Infosys, died on the way to Nimhans.
The condition of one of the injured is said to be critical.
