BJP State President D V Sadananda Gowda has said that he would withdraw the party candidate from the election front, if the Congress leaders prove that at least one out of 18 BJP ministers is corrupt in the State.
Reacting to Monday’s statements of KPCC leader Mallikarjun Kharge at Ullal on Tuesday, he said it is the electorate who should decides who are corrupt and who are not. “Not BJP, but Congress is daydreaming about the election results. Their complaint that the police were passive during the communal violence in the district, also reflects their partiality and helplessness,” he said.
The Congress has taken it granted that minorities are their vote bank. Their daydreaming will soon come to an end, Mr Gowda added.
