‘Kashmir Needs Peaceful Solution’
New Delhi, May 24.
Japanese Prime Minister Kishi said, “When the Prime Minister of Pakistan came to Japan we had an exchange of views on the Kashmir problem. I indicated that a solution should be brought about peacefully and now that the US is giving consideration to this problem, we feel that the question should be dealt with peacefully and to the satisfaction of both parties.”

“Pampa Sagar” is one of the suggestions made in regard to the naming of the Tungabhadra Reservoir, disclosed Mr B K Gokhale, chairman of the Tungabhadra board here today.

‘Central Aid To Develop Tumkur’
Bangalore, May 24.
Tumkur was put on the industrial map of India with Union Industries Minister N D Tiwari formally commissioning the HMT watch factory-IV in the town, 70 km from here, today. Mr Tiwari, who dedicated to the nation the Rs 30-crore plant, with a capacity to produce 1.67 lakh watches a month promised Central help to further industrialise the most backward district.
