J K Rowling to give reading of new Potter
Harry Potter author J K Rowling will mark the release of the final book in the hugely popular series by giving a midnight reading and signing in London, Associated Press reports from London.
About 1,700 lucky fans in Britain and Ireland will win a chance to have Rowling sign a copy of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
The event will take place at the Natural History Museum on July 21, the day the book is released.

Hilton turning to religion
Socialite Paris Hilton, who is to serve a jail term soon for driving without a licence, was spotted picking up some reading material, including the Bible, IANS reports from New York.
Hilton picked up a copy of the Bible and The Power of Now, a book by empowerment guru Eckhart Tolle.
Though swamped by photographers at the Hollywood bookstore, she seemed more comfortable and was more willing to show her face, reports pagesix. com.

Demi Moore wants a baby boy
Actress Demi Moore, who has three daughters with ex-hubby Bruce Willis, now wants a son with current husband Ashton Kutcher, IANS reports from London.
Ananova.com quoted her as saying: “I wouldn’t mind a little balancing out of that oestrogen. I think pregnancy is by far one of the most empowering experiences a woman can have.”

Gwyneth Paltrow apes Michael Jackson
Oscar winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow reminded people of Michael Jackson when she covered up daughter Apple with a black veil, IANS reports from New York.
The actress was carrying her daughter as she came out of a Santa Monica nursery school and threw on the veil to prevent photographers from taking pictures. Pop superstar Jackson used to do the same thing; he used to cover his children’s faces with masks in public, reports pagesix.com.

Jolie-Pitt relationship in trouble?
Celebrity couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie had a small but noticeable falling out after the premiere of A Mighty Heart in Cannes, India Abroad News Service reports from London.
The problem seems to be that Jolie wants to buy a house outside the US but her partner is not interested, reports dailysnack.com.
An insider said: “Jolie explained to Pitt she thought they should buy a house in Monte Carlo, but he was not at all happy about it.
“He said he was tired of all this jet setting around and just wants some time to stay in the States.”
