Journo turns lyricist
Gandhinagar has a new lyricist. All thanks to the relentless efforts of producer-actor-director Madan Patel, who wanted a beautiful song to express the feelings of his heroine Maya, who is in the first thrush of love (in the film, of course). And the prize catch is none other than Vishweshwar Bhat, editor of a Kannada daily. After hounding the newsman for weeks together, Patel succeeded in getting a song that is fresh in its approach while celebrating love in Ninade Nenapu.
Set to the tune by Mahesh, the song has come out really well. Maya, the heroine was instantly smitten by the words and could be seen singing the song energetically, bringing back memories of that song in Bili Hendthi.

New love story
After a film on Dr B R Ambedkar, filmmaker Vishnukant kept a low profile as the film was not appreciated by the public.
Now, he is back in tinsel town with a love story, featuring newcomers. Former VJ Anand and college student Haripriya play lovebirds in the film, Manasugala Maatu Madhura. Shooting is on. For details, watch this space.
