ACB raids OsmaniaRMO’s residence
Sleuths of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) raided the residence of the Government Osmania Hospital Resident Medical Officer (RMO) P Vasanta on Thursday morning and recovered assets worth more than Rs 78 lakh, UNI reports from Hyderabad.
ACB officials said simultaneous raids were also being carried out at the residence of her husband Dr Raghuram, who is presently the Superintendent of Sri Venkateswara Hospital, Tirupati. However, Dr Vasanta claimed that all the assets were purchased by hard earned money.

Man held with 15 crude bombs
Police on Thursday seized 15 crude bombs and arrested a person in this connection in Naubasta area here, PTI reports from Kanpur. Pankaj Bajpai, a resident of KDA Colony in Delhi- Sujanpur, was arrested in Naubasta area, police said.
At least 15 crude bombs were found in his possession, they said adding a case has been registered. Uttar Pradesh is already on high alert in the wake of serial bomb blasts in Gorakhpur on Tuesday.
