ZP meet put off
   The special general body meeting of the zilla panchayat scheduled to be held on May 25 has been postponed due to unavoidable reasons according to ZP Deputy Secretary (Administration). The special meeting was convened to chalk out the plan of action against the government’s  interference in the functioning of the zilla panchayat.
Admission
   Applications have been invited for admission to 13 pre-matric government hostels and two aided private hostels in Afzalpur taluk. The students studying in 5th-10th standards belonging to SC/ST are eligible for admission.
   The last date for submitting applications is June 8.
   Application forms and details can be had from the Office of the Taluka Social Welfare Officer, an official release said.
