Members nominated
   H Krishna of Annanagar and Honnamma of Achutarao Extension have been nominated as members of City Development Authority under the category of ordinary and women respectively. The membership will be continued untill the government desires or for three years or else the one which is earlier.

Inter-state cricket tourney

Emission check for vehicles
   The government has already ordered the owners of all the vehicles in the district to get their vehicles checked and get them certified before May 31, on account of celebration of International Bio diversities and World Environment Day. On June 1 and 2, all vehicles will be checked. Those who do not possess ETCs will be fined.
